Find out why grass-fed meats are NOW healthier protein alternatives than organic meats and fish I recently became aware of this line of wonder food, and ordered some for our family. We have been exceedingly pleased with the quality of the beef (which is what we ordered so far) and this is why I am sharing this with you too. When you're planning your summer picnics or barbecues (like the 4th of July), try some of these delicious and nutritious grass-fed meats. We like the 75% lean ground beef due to its higher fat (also known as Conjugated Linoleic Acid or CLA). The more CLA and Omega 3's per serving, the better your health will be. We hope you and your family enjoy both the flavor and the sense of confidence you get when eating this meat without the risk of CJD (commonly known as "mad cow disease".) For more information and prices, click here. Learn about CLA and its health benefits CLA - remember this new acronym! It's going to change the way America eats for the better! It's amazing what a difference diet really makes, for cattle and for us. When cattle eat right, beef is incredibly good for you! Read on. THE CLA ADVANTAGE International scientific research is demonstrating positive results in:
Recent studies in Europe indicated that patients with higher levels of CLA in breast tissue had less tumor growth. Other studies have correlated CLA with decreasing body fat and increasing lean body mass. One study showed that humans receiving CLA had a significant decrease in body fat as compared to the placebo group. Yet other research has shown that CLA delays or prevents the onset of diabetes and reduces arteriosclerosis (coronary artery disease). There are good fats, fats that contain essential nutrients for life and health. In the American diet, beef and milk fat are the best sources for CLA. But studies have also shown that the cattle's diet has a significant impact on the amount of CLA in the meat and dairy products. Not surprisingly, when cattle eat their natural diet, foraging pasture grasses and legumes, CLA levels are 30-40% higher. CLA levels drop dramatically in feed lots where cattle are fed grain and other byproduct feedstuff. The first chamber of the bovine stomach sets the stage for fatty acid production. The pH 7 of the grazing animal contains the family of bacteria that produces high levels of omega 3 and CLA due to near base saturation. The beef animal consuming grain in the first chamber stomach has a very acidic pH. This set stage for a different bacteria family, that result in higher omega 6 production and lower omega 3 and CLA output. Free range grazing animals result in a win-win for the environment and consumers alike. US WELLNESS MEATS will give you the CLA advantage. Health food stores are beginning to sell CLA supplements, but studies suggest that naturally occurring CLA is metabolized and used differently than synthetic CLA. Grass-fed meats provide only "good" fats for your health OMEGA 3'S Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid for human growth and development. We must have it to be healthy. Grass-finished beef is a great source for this essential nutrient. We know that Omega 3 is great for individuals with heart disease, and other studies are showing that Omega 3 may also have an anti-carcinogenic effect. The source of Omega 3 is the green leaves of plants. When cattle eat their natural diet, beef becomes a great source of Omega 3. Grain is not a rich source of Omega 3, so standard, cattle-finishing practices cause the Omega 3 level to decrease dramatically. Our grass-finishing protocol produces a great, natural source for Omega 3, US WELLNESS MEATS. REDUCED FAT Because US WELLNESS MEATS cattle are raised and finished in their natural environment, eating their natural diet, the meat is much leaner than the beef of standard, grain-finished livestock. Grass-fed beef has a much better fatty acid ration and less total fat than grain-fed animals! The myth is that cattle must be grain-fed to be tender and tasty, but we now know better. US WELLNESS MEATS is leaner, so you'll need to cook it at lower temperatures. Wait until you sink your teeth into the lean, clean flavor of US WELLNESS MEATS. You'll find that greasy taste has been replaced by the great beef flavor that you love, AND as an added bonus, it's GREAT for you! Eat grass-fed meat with confidence NATURAL, ADDITIVE-FREE MEATS At US WELLNESS MEATS we eat what we sell! We are absolutely committed to the highest standards of food quality and safety. Cattle graze on a managed rotation, which provides them with consistently fresh forage. We are also absolutely committed to the humane treatment of our animals. Stress is avoided, and the animals are provided with fresh, clean water to drink while they graze in their natural environment. Last, but not least, we do not irradiate our meat! Grass-Fed Beef Testimonials from Customers Don't take our word that grass-fed beef is the only beef you and your family should eat. Take it from many people who are already taking advantage of the healthy possibilities grass-fed beef has to offer. "So far, we have only tried the ground beef - but we love it. It has far less fat than the beef we had been using and has an excellent flavor. My 5 year old eats it without any prodding - and getting her to eat meat of any kind has always been a challenge. The delivery came within a few days, the packaging was convenient and I feel a great value. I love beef and can now eat it without concerns about hormones, additives, etc. I would highly recommend your product to any health conscious family." Jean Dixon, Northbrook, IL E-mail: jean_dixon@ama-assn.org "Low carb, adequate protein, and healthy fats are extremely important for maintaining optimal health. Your products seem to fit well into this picture by providing high quality protein with an excellent fat profile. I encourage you to keep on the good work......." Micky Snir, Redmond, WA E-mail: mickys@windows.microsoft.com.
"I ordered the sample pack of beef and am very impressed with the fast delivery and the quality of the meat. The packaging is very conveniently freezer-ready. Husband and guests had high praise for the taste and texture of it. I am very grateful that I have the option of ordering from you and will continue to reorder and not buy beef from any other source. Many thanks!" Joan Palumbo E-mail: jquester@yahoo.com "We have enjoyed the grass-fed beef we ordered from your company. I was very happy to find a beef product free from harmful substances and grains. My daughter has several health challenges and she needs a diet with high quality protein and low in fat." Debra Aiello E-mail: TheAielloFamily@email.msn.com "My husband and I really like the flavor of grass-fed beef......It was wonderfully rare and tender. Delicious!" Bonnie Taranto E-mail: Bonleetar@aol.com "I was really hesitant ordering meat over the Internet(of all things!) It came exactly on the day that your company promised it would, and in the morning just like you the paperwork stated. Unbelievable! It was wrapped and packaged beautifully, and frozen solid as a rock. It is delicious as well! The price, INCLUDING the shipping and handling was comparable to what I pay at my Co-Op here.(a real plus for your company)." Anena Parkhurst E-mail: NenieMarie@aol.com "We just tried our first Grassfed Organic chuck roast the other night. I served it to guests! We browned it in a hot oven with some olive oil over it for about an hour on 500 degrees turning once. Then we cooked it for a couple more hours in a closed roaster pan with 2 cups of water with a tight lid at 250 degrees. This was the best roast we ever had, and the gravy was out of this world! My guests included a Midwestern butcher who is very picky about meat and is used to corn fed beef, as well as a visitor from California who is almost vegetarian, and a couple little kids who don't always like beef. It was a big hit with everyone. Tasted great, tender, great texture, ...we thought we were in a gourmet restaurant! Thanks for the opportunity to purchase you meat. It came quickly, well-packaged and frozen solid! I wish you the best in your business." Coleen Kelly Mast E-mail: mast@keynet.net "We have only tried the ground beef and the tenderloin steaks so far and both were excellent. I like knowing that this meat doesn't have any hormones or chemicals in it. I'm trying to eat as healthy as I can and your meat makes that possible....." Carolyn Lampi E-mail: BLampi7661@aol.com "We ordered for the first time on the morning of the bombing and were totally oblivious to the world events until we got to work and turned on the radio. Horror, shock, and sorrow. Well understandably our order took until Monday Sept. 17 to show up, but everything was frozen and well taken care of. We like the way the packages were individually vacuum sealed. It allows you to have some de-thawing and others still frozen. I was impressed on how fresh the meat tasted. Vacuum freezing technology is the best. Our initial order of $234.00 will likely be doubled next time. We felt confident in your recommendations knowing the integrity of Dr. Mercola. My wife and I can notice the taste difference with the first piece of beef we ate. We are recommending it to all of our patients and friends. It's great to know we are a part of what I feel will be a major change in how America looks at beef. Looking forward to sinking our teeth into a grass-fed steak. We will only be ordering our meat through Grassfed Organics from now on." Mark and Joy Gould, Fox River Grove, IL E-mail: back2health@att.net
